Apapa Holds Year 2023 Budget Stakeholders Forum, Plans Ahead

In preparation for year 2023 Budget that will kick start the LG running in a new year, Apapa Local Government held its Year 2023 Budget Stakeholders Forum last Tuesday at the Council’s Secretariat.
The Executive Chairman, Hon Idowu Adejumoke Senbanjo reflected on the accomplishments and challenges of the past year and assured the constituents of inclusion of their needs in the Y2023 budget which is tagged Budget of Consolidation

The Mayoress stressed that inspite of paucity of funds her administration has performed remarkably well in the area of Education, Security, infrastructure, health and Environment.

She also enjoined the constituents to all go out and obtain their permanent voters card (PVC) which will enable them to vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming election to reciprocate the good works being done by the governor in the local government.

Major stakeholders such as Captain of industries, political and religious leaders, artisans, market men and women, the youth and ward members were all present as they all submitted their inputs for the 2023 Budget.

Other notable stakeholders who graced the occasion include the immediate past state APC Chairman in Lagos State and a member of Governor Advisory Committee ((GAC) Hon, (Alh) Babatunde Balogun; the representative of the His Royal Highness Oba Fatai Aromire (The paramount ruler of Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom), Chief Hakeem Adejiyan-Ojora (Lisa of Ijora and Iganmu kingdom) and the CDC executives led by the CDC Chairman.
