In order to make the discharge of their official duties more effective and efficient, the executive chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area, Lagos, Hon Ramotalai Akinlola-Hassan has presented brand new HP laptop computers to elected, appointed and top management staff of the council.
The presentation of the working gadgets was done by Hon Akinlola-Hassan last Thursday, during the conduct of 2023 Budget Stakeholders Consultative Forum of the council.
The council chairman who was a former member of the Lagos State House Of Assembly, representing Amuwo-Odofin Constituency 2 urged beneficiaries of the laptop computers to use them to improve their efficiency and productivity in the course of discharging their official responsibilities.
She added that her administration will continue to fashion out various ways of contributing to staff welfare,as this will have a positive and great impact in the desire of Oriade Council to deliver dividend of democracy to the people.
She posited that part of her administration’s effort geared towards improving staff welfare is the ongoing construction of a new office complex at the back of the council secretariat, adding that when the project is completed, there will be adequate office accomodation for all categories of staff.
Hon Akinlola-Hassan also made mention of the ongoing construction of an ultra modern Legislative Building situated within the council secretariat, that will house elected councillors and their staff.
Among beneficiaries of the laptop computers are the Vice Chairman of the council, Chief Moshood Olarenwaju Badmus, all the seven elected councillors, Secretary to the council,Mr Rasak Olojede, Supervisors, the Council Manager,Prince Akitoye Babatunde Semiu and other Management Staff.
