Fed. Lawmaker, Agunsoye Empowers Over 200 Constituents in Lagos

The lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Rotimi Agunsoye has empowered no fewer than 200 residents of the constituency.

Agunsoye in a statement by Mr Durotimi Adeboye who represented him on the occasion disclosed that the empowerment which came after the youths and women were trained on catering services is meant to bring succour to the people and as a way of making them able to put food in their table.

The lawmaker said 203 of the constituents were trained on the catering services and empowered with 50,000 each.

Speaking on the programme the lawmaker said it is part of fulfilling part of the party’s manifestos to the people.

He said: “it is part of APC policies to get our political leaders to continually empower their constituents and make them enjoy the benefit of democracy”.

Adding Agunsoye said: “right now our party is asking for something big from the entire nation, and that is our leader Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aiming to become the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, these are the same people who will vote for him and all his top followers along which Honorable Rotimi Agunsoye are doing this not just for themselves but to achieved that bigger and greater goal which I trust that God will give us the privilege to achieve it.”

Beneficiaries

The lawmaker appealed to the beneficiaries of the empowerment to use the funds given to them for the right purposes he said “opportunities are now in their hands to rebuild their lives and make life easier for their dependence.”

He further advised that “don’t treat this as the harvest, this is the seed go and sow it, make it grow and it will yield you a bigger harvest.”

Beneficiaries of the empowerment programme appreciated the lawmaker for the kind gesture and pray for his success in all his endeavours.
