… Charges Law Enforcement Body on Security
The Muslim Congress (TMC) has called on the Nigerian Police Force to ensure more coordinated and effective policing in the country.
The team led by its Wakil (President) of the Oshodi-Isolo chapter, Mallam Maruf Yusuf, stated this when they visited the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Makinde Police Divisional Headquarters, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu in Mafoluku area of Oshodi, Lagos.
Mallam Yusuf said the visit is in commemoration of the Congress’s Annual Week themed “Restoring Our Pristine National Values.”
He appreciated the DPO for the warmth reception. He charged the police force to ensure security of lives and property of the citizens.
Mallam Yusuf disclosed that the Congress will continue to trail the line of peace through dialogue and active participation in the activities of the Police and also see to the peaceful coexistence of its members and the community at large.
CSP Ajisebutu thanked the delegation and appreciated them for the visit as he said it’s a good thing for the association to synergize with the security outfit in securing the community.
He also encourage that the Congress should also include religious tolerance in its regular preachings through youth engagement.
Ajisebutu, noted that, he will as always join hands to promote religious tolerance in the community.
