Adebule Meets Lagos West Youths, Promises Job Creation

The candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress for Lagos West Senatorial District, Dr Idiat Adebule has met with youths from all the 10 local government areas and local council development areas of the district to strategise for the 2023 general elections.

The youths under the aegis of Adebule Youths Ambassadors thronged the Adebule campaign office on Oba Akinjobi Way, GRA Ikeja to show solidarity and affirm their readiness and support for her candidature.

Engaging the youths in a heart-to-heart talk, ‘Mama West’ as she is fondly called, Dr Adebule reeled out her agenda in bettering the lots of the youths if elected senator.

In her soft-spoken words, Adebule thanked the youths for their overwhelming support assuring them that her administration will not only train them on soft skills but will also empower them with various tools that will make them self-dependent.

She said she will facilitate job opportunities for the youths saying they are most graduates who constitute the majority of the voters.
“I will let not let you down, I will within the resources in my capacity ensure that your interests are catered for. We will work to train some of you on different skills, we will also empower you at the end of the trainings. We will also work to facilitate job opportunities for our youths.”

“As we begin our campaign activities, I want you all to remain disciplined in engaging your colleagues, we want you to go all out from house to house and street to street to campaign for our party. We will give you all the support you will need to succeed,” she said.
Speaking earlier, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende commended the ambassadors for their selflessness.

Also, the Director General of the Adebule Campaign Team and Chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye local council development area, Hon. Rasaq Ajala charged the youth with a renewed commitment to the cause.

He encouraged them to use their numerical strength to command victory for Adebule as well as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and other candidates of the party.

One of the conveners of the AYA, Comrade Jamiu Ademosu, thanked Dr Adebule for allowing them to serve independently.

Ademosu explained that Adebule’s impressive track record as a core progressive won the youth to her side noting that the group will explore every means to garner support and see to her victory come 2023.
